The starting point

Massage chez soi offers in-home massage therapy in the Laurentians. Its website no longer did it justice.

Built on WordPress, on an old template, it had reached the end of its life: its software was outdated, updates were no longer possible, and its old code could no longer be improved. Every adjustment to show up well in Google was complicated. Its look had aged, its layout was basic, and the contact form — the whole point of the site — was not always easy to reach. The site had to be replaced entirely.

Above all, Frédérique travels to her clients’ homes: before opening their door to her, they need to be able to trust her. Her new site first had to present a professional image, one that inspires credibility and trust.

Our approach

Search visibility first

Before writing a single line of code, we built the search engine optimization plan: what people who want an in-home massage therapist in the Laurentians search for, the site structure, the address of each page, its title and its description. The site was built on that plan.

A design that reflects the care

The colours come from the old site, which Frédérique liked: a warm taupe and a sage green. The fonts were chosen with her. From the home page on, the site puts forward what reassures: certified massage therapist, insurance receipts.

Optimized content

The live site’s content was carried over, expanded and optimized following the search engine optimization plan. Each massage now has its own page, with the rates, how a visit unfolds and the frequently asked questions. Each of the 18 towns served has its own page too.

A launch with nothing lost

The old addresses left behind by WordPress now lead to the right page, and the new pages have been added to Google’s index.

What it changes

For Massage chez soi

  • A professional image that inspires credibility and trust.
  • No more WordPress maintenance or updates to keep an eye on.
  • No more security vulnerabilities: the databases, plugins and login pages hackers use to get in no longer exist.
  • A change to make? One email is all it takes: our white-glove update service handles the rest.
  • Complete search engine optimization, in place from launch day, to be well presented in Google and in the answers of AI assistants.
  • Legal notices and a privacy policy compliant with Québec’s Law 25.

For its visitors

  • A home page that grabs attention at first glance, designed to today’s home page standards.
  • A redesigned home page that takes everyone straight to what they are looking for.
  • The contact form in plain sight, right where you expect it.
  • Booking in one step: call, text or form.
  • Richer pages that are more enjoyable to browse.
  • Pages that load faster, on phones and on computers.
  • A polished look on both phones and computers.
  • A choice between a light and a dark palette.
